Are there songs that are jinxed, or impart ill on those who sing or perform
them? I've heard different songs mentioned, but are there actually any such
songs. What are the details?

Are you thinking of "Gloomy Sunday", which is supposed to have inspired a rash
of suicides in people who heard it?...

Or maybe you'd like the Star Spangled Banner, which has proven a setback to the
careers of such entertainers as Robert Goulet (who was booed because he got one
word of the lyrics wrong), Roseanne Barr (who seized upon it as an opportunity
to scrub her genitals), and Lucy Lawless (whose breast popped out of her "Uncle
Sam" costume when she raised her arms above her head singing the last line at a
hockey match)?...r

There are a lot of songs claimed as such, but coincidence, false facts
and confirmation bias covers most.

Citation needed.

I hate that QI took this as truth and gave the first audience victory
because of it.

Three out of thousand, nah, millions of performances. Confirmation
bias and the profile/esteem the song is held in.

False fakes, as well, was it a set back in any of those cases? I know
little of Goulet. For Barr it was a minor controversy some backlash
equaled out by the publicity. Lucy Lawless... embarassing, but hardly
a set-back, and it's not like it doesn't happen a lot to others during
other songs.

It happens with TV shows, too. There are claims about a Halloween
episode of Quantum Leap.

Movies, etc, Superman (both career & life). I've seen someone on TV
try to force Jennifer Grey's nose job and the deaths of Jerry Orbach,
Patrick Swayze and a pair of backing dancers into a Dirty Dancing
curse.

For what?
That it was "supposed to have" led to suicides? That is well documented.

Or that it actually caused suicides? Which is not what RHD claimed.

??? What does that mean? Is QI some sort of regional ACRONYM?

For what?
That it was "supposed to have" led to suicides?  That is well documented.
Then a citation shouldn't be too hard to find.

Don't forget the epidemic in the Pogo comic strip where person after
person lost their voice on
"Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
